To establish an accurate Carbon Footprint®, Supertripper calculates CO₂ emissions from journeys (train and plane) by multiplying the distance traveled by an emission factor specific to the mode of transport and class (ADEME method). For hotels, calculations are based on the number of nights and HCMI factors related to the type of establishment.
